Equipment Overview:

Cold roll forming machine is an automated production line that continuously bends metal coil stock into profiled sections at room temperature through a series of forming stations. The complete line integrates uncoiling, leveling, punching, forming, cutting, and run-out units under centralized PLC control, enabling one-pass continuous production from coil to finished product.

Technical Principle:
Cold roll forming is a progressive bending process. The metal strip undergoes localized plastic deformation at each roller pass, with the total bending angle distributed evenly across successive stations. The pass design follows either the downhill forming method or the centerline (constant-radius) forming method. Proper distribution of bending per pass controls longitudinal strain at the strip edge, preventing defects such as edge wave, twist, and camber.
